Joe Alwyn is back again with another song along with Taylor Swift and fans will be pleased to know that they would get to hear it on Midnight. The actor is bringing back his pseudonym William Bowery.
Fans have been eagerly waiting for the singer to release her new album and in a couple of days, they would finally get to hear it.
Amid this, it has been revealed that Joe will be collaborating with the singer once again and people will have a chance to hear his lyrics soon.
WHAT SONG HAS JOE ALWYN WRITTEN FOR MIDNIGHT?
Joe and Taylor have worked together on Midnight’s Sweet Nothing. As of now, the singer has not opened up about what the song might entail.
Nonetheless, looking at some of the past works they have done together fans are hopeful that the upcoming song will also be a masterpiece.
In the past, Taylor and Joe have worked together on songs like Exile and Betty on Folklor, Champagne Problems, Coney Island, and Evermore from her album Evermore.
HOW THE PSEUDONYM WILLIAM BOWERY CAME TO BEING
Joe appeared on The Kelly Clarkson Show back in May 2022 and had spoken about writing the song along with his girlfriend, Taylor.
The actor confessed that the decision to write the song with a pseudonym came from the fact that they wanted people to focus on the music before going into details of how they wrote a song together.
At the same time, he also explained how the name came into being as Joe revealed that “William” is the name of his great-grandfather, who he had never met. Joe further added that his great-grandfather had been a composer and written several songs while he was active.
Hence, the name was in honor of him. As for Bowery, it stems from the place in New York where Joe spends a lot of his time at.
